Flightradar24 - Review & Install Links
Flightradar24 is a superb tracker of flight that displays air traffic live throughout the world. The app will magically turn your device into an air traffic radar through which you can see all planes around the world move in real-time on a detailed map. Furthermore, you can point your Android device at a plane in the sky to find out where it’s going. Flightradar24 combines data from a couple of data sources including ADS-B, MLAT, and radar data.

If you are an aviation enthusiast, you’ll be amazed at what you can get with Flightradar24 Pro. Although the app is adapted on both the iPhone and iPad, it’s much more satisfying on an iPad due to its fancy visualization.
It is ideal for is looking at commercial aviation on a global scale. Flightradar shows active flights on a scalable map—if you give it a proper zoom out, you can see an amazing number of flights. The map updates in real time, so you can watch the traffic flow in and out.
By a single tap on any plane, you’ll see the aircraft’s flight path, along with an overlay window containing series of information: departure/arrival times and airports, airline and flight number, a progress bar displaying how far along the flight is, and some other details on the aircraft. Another way to see all the flight information is the augmented reality mode. Point your iPad or iPhone at the sky, and you’ll see a small tag for any aircraft in (virtual) sight. The tags tell you all the information.
On the plane’s registration number and radar squawk code, there’s the usual physical data, such as altitude and speed, and also track and vertical speed.
On the bottom of the overlay window, icons let you share a selected flight with others, or even enter a 3D virtual cockpit by tapping the 3D button. You’ll get a representative “out the cockpit window” view, which is the same as what the pilots are seeing.
